I am sad to announce that I will be looking to find Winston a new home and Master. With my variable work schedule, I am afraid that I am not able to give Winston the time and love that he much desires. Winston is an 18 mo. old purebred Rotty, very handsome fellow, in great shape, extremely friendly demeanor with children, men and women. I have had him for about 4 months now, I rescued him from a family who had kept him locked in the basement after they gave birth to their firstborn. So needless to say, he loves being showed affection. Please contact me for more information if you or someone you know can provide a good, loving home for Winston.

John,

I own Finest Pet Sitters in Monroe. We own two rotties ourselves and actually rescued our female from a kill shelter in long island because the family dumped her and two other rotties because they were having a baby. I do not understand why people do what they do. Rotties are one of the most loving and loyal breed to there owners. They absolutely need love, time and exercise, I will be more then willing to work with you so you and your family can keep him. We offer daily walks and boarding. I really don't want him to have another change in his life. If interested please email through my website so we can talk. www.finestpetsitters.com
thanks
Laura

We have an 18 month old Rott as well! I would love for Roscoe to have a brother, but I would like to talk with my husband first. Then, we can try to set up a time for the dogs to meet one another.
Do you by chance know where the original family got Winston?

I would love for them to get a chance to meet each other away from one anothers "turf" to see how they get along!. The original family got him around 10 weeks. As far as I can tell from the documents I have, his breeder was Harley Yoder from Double Y Kennels in Garnett, KS. He was purchased at a pet store I believe (We Love Pets in Springfield, PA). I have a folder full of paperwork including family tree, medical history (including rabies and neutering), micro-chip number, etc.

Please let me know if you and your husband are still interested, I would Winston to meet you two and Roscoe to see how everyone interacts. How is Roscoe with other dogs? As of date, Winston has not shown any aggression towards any dogs that he has encountered.

I would love to introduce Roscoe to Winston to see how they interact. When and where would be a good time for you?

I am available this Saturday morning if that works, what time works for you? What about Indian Ledge Park? Although, I can not let him loose in the dog park because he is not licenses yet. I am open to other suggestions as well.

Saturday could work. We are available around 10:15 or so, if that will work for you. Indian Ledge works for us. We can always use the smaller section if you feel more comfortable there wihout the licence.
My husband and I have been trying to decide whether or not to get a second dog for a while now. We are still not 100%, but we would love to meet to see how they get along and interact with each other.
